sun-soaker

I am a sun-soaker.
casually accepting my invitation
to a luxury windowsil
where I find a robe of light
thrown around my shoulders
by a warm and dear friend.
give me no vacant conversations
to pass the time;
only let me sit, and soak, and shine.
I am a sun-soaker.

I am a sun-soaker.
my back against the glass that
sends tingles to my toes.
not chills as you may perceive
but thoughts of summer on my doorstep
tapping light as she may please.
I am a sun-soaker.

I am a sun-soaker.
it is true.

Intriguing and very well written, as usual!
